- My Story
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been interested in computers. It all started with an old Dell computer that my parents had, which sparked my curiosity about how both software and hardware operate. I’ve always wanted to take apart how both the software and hardware works. When I was 10 I took my first foray into programming, I wanted to learn how to make a mod for my favorite game at the time, Minecraft. So I found some tutorials on how to do that on YouTube and began learning. My interest continued to grow through my teenage years, and by the time I was a junior in high school, I had self-taught numerous programming languages, including Java and JavaScript. Now in high school, I joined the FRC robotics team at my school, 135, the Black Knights, where I dedicated my all free time to coding for our team's robots. This involvement not only deepened my love for computer science but also decided my future career path. I am now at Arizona State University (ASU), pursuing a degree in computer science and working part-time as an IT technician.
- Travel
Born in Tempe, Arizona, I spent my early years enjoying the sunny outdoors before my family relocated to Granger, Indiana. I was fortunate to travel extensively during my childhood, visiting cities like New York, Seattle, London, Paris, and Innsbruck. These experiences broadened my perspective and enriched my appreciation for diverse cultures. After years away, I’ve flown right back to Tempe to pursue a degree in computer science at ASU.
- Hobbies
Despite my focus on computers, I still spend a lot of time focused on more creative pursuit. I am an avid reader, consuming around 130 books per year according to my Kindle statistics, with a particular interest in fantasy novels. Apart from reading, I am actively involved in the world of table-top RPGs, having played Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) since high school. I also compete in Tetris tournaments and am currently ranked in the top 1800 players in the US.
